Section 02
What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as pixels and browser storage, can also help a website remember information or understand how its services are used.
First-party cookies are set by the website you visit. Third-party cookies are set by services from another organisation. Their use depends on the features and services loaded on a page.
Section 03
Types of cookies
The categories below describe the purposes for which cookies and similar technologies may be used, depending on the features and services available on the website.
Essential Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies support essential features such as website security and services you request. These cookies do not require consent where they meet the legal exemption. Blocking them in your browser may affect how the website works.
Functional & Preference Cookies
These may remember choices or settings and provide enhanced website functionality.
Analytics Cookies
With your consent where required, analytics technologies may help us understand how visitors use Restaurants Cyprus and improve website performance and content.
These may include services such as Google Analytics where implemented.
Marketing Cookies
With your consent where required, marketing technologies may be used to measure advertising performance, understand campaign activity, or deliver relevant advertising.
These may include services provided by platforms such as Google and Meta where implemented.
Section 04
Third-party services
Restaurants Cyprus may include third-party content and services, such as maps, social media feeds, videos, restaurant booking links, analytics and advertising tools. These providers may receive technical information when their content is loaded or you interact with it.
Depending on the services in use, this may include Google services and Meta platforms. Their own privacy and cookie policies explain how they handle information. Following a link to an independent restaurant or booking website takes you to that website’s own privacy and cookie arrangements.
Section 05
Managing your choices
You can review, block or delete cookies through your browser’s privacy settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect website functionality.
Where a cookie-consent panel is displayed, use its controls to accept or reject optional cookies and review your choices. Simply visiting our website does not constitute consent to non-essential cookies.
For help with cookie preferences or to withdraw consent you previously provided, contact info@restaurantscyprus.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Optional cookies require consent where applicable law requires it. Browser settings operate separately from any consent choices you make on a website. If you clear your cookies or use a different browser or device, you may need to make your choices again.
Section 06
How long cookies remain
Session cookies generally last for your browsing session. Persistent cookies remain until their set expiry date or until you delete them.
The duration depends on the cookie and the service that sets it. Your browser’s privacy or site-data settings let you inspect and remove stored cookies. Deleting a cookie does not necessarily delete information a provider has already received; see our Privacy Policy for information about personal-data retention and your rights.
Section 07
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our website, services or use of technology changes. The current version is published on this page, with the date of the latest update shown above.
Section 08
